Comments: This is NOT a new Oz story – well, kind of – but not really. It's a reworking – a reassignment, if you will – of the first of the Oz stories: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Understand that the monks are huge fans of the original 14 Oz books by the Royal Historian of Oz, L. Frank Baum, and would never put forth the idea that they have in any way "improved" on his original creation. It's just that, well, Brother Felix does like to work on projects after hours and, you see … well, have a look at the preview. You'll get the idea. This is a gift from Brother Felix to his real brother, Daniel, on the occasion of his 10th Birthday. Happy Birthday, Daniel! |
