Navy Alphabet, The

1900
Author(s):
Baum, Lyman Frank
Illustrator(s):
Kennedy, Harry
Publisher(s):
George M. Hill, Chicago
Genre(s):
Poetry & Music

Comments:
One of two books with verse and pictures for each letter of the alphabet. It is a mode that Baum seems to have found uncongenial, possibly because of the rigidity of the format (A represents Arny... B represents the Bayonet...) His verses are unmemorable, although the two books are very handsome, beautifully illustrated and well printed. Published Sept. 1, 1900
