Comments: This book is based on the Walt Disney movie of the same name. Dorothy grows up convinced her trip to Oz was real and not due to a dream as in the 1939 movie. She is called back to Oz to save the land from the evil Nome King and the wicked witch Mombi. Six months after she comes back from Oz, Dorothy's aunt and uncle are worried about her mental health. But Dorothy is even more worried about her friends' fate when her chicken, Billina, finds an Ozian key in the farmyard. Can she find her way back, and save them from Princess Mombi and the Nome King? |
