Another attempt to explain the Good Witch of the North that was transformed by Ruth Plumly Thompson into Queen Orin, much to the disappointment of most Oz fans. A young giantess returns to seek the Scarecrow out and with her magic wig can become very large indeed. Dorothy using the Magic Belt travels north to visit Tod, (Laumer's name for the Witch of the North) and adventure ensues.
