Comments: This book, of course centers on the beloved Button-Bright as the hero. The villain, Trickolas Om covets a magical mirror that will grant him very dangerous powers. But he can not get it for himself. Instead, he must persuade Button-Bright to sneak out of the Emerald City undetected and find it for him. Button-Bright, is forced into following Trickolas' plan and seeing it through. We meet Plop, the Needlepin Prince, who was only just born, We see the world through his eye which is most interesting. We also meet, Packer, who's hobby of collecting ivory sets him apart as a most unusual character. Once again Button-Bright must inadvertently save Oz. |
