Comments: One minute in the present, and the next in the future, a young woman must contend with a post apocalyptic wasteland with no option left but to fight for her life. With her life on the line, Daisy Gale must conquer her fear to discover the truth of the apocalypse. After 200 years in a medical stasis pod, Daisy wakes up to find a new and frightening world. War and chaos has reduced her once thriving home state of Kansas into a barren wasteland filled with psychotic monsters who offer no mercy save a quick and brutal death. One lone city remains standing in the wasteland, and getting there is her only hope for safety. With the help of a kindly tech witch, Daisy is armed and ready to find her way through the dangers of the new world. Along the way she finds unlikely allies to help her on her journey. New twists on familiar faces populate the wasteland and together they must face savage gangs, dangerous automatons, and a sadistic cult of witches armed with advanced weapons that they use to twist the act of violence into a bloody and vicious form of art. With no way to go but forward, Daisy and her allies' only chance to stop the cult is to gain an audience with the ruler of the mysterious Emerald City, an omniscient AI known as The OZ. |
