Comments: Glinda, the Witch of the North had made sure with a magical spell, The Land of Oz made invisible, impossible to get to and discover any new stories for a long time. One day, not too far ago, I unexpectedly arrived in Oz, it was not what I had imagined. A desolate place, no growth, no color, just a faded memory in the wind, nothing appeared as I had thought. Of course, I had never been there before, so what do I know? I had been trying to find a way there for years, and I am not even sure how I got there; I think I was asleep and then awoke, I do remember walking through the forest on the old Brick Road until I stumbled upon the cornfields, but my memory seems to fail me and I cannot remember anything before leaving the forest. But what I would encounter, would rattle the bones of anyone, I could not forget this for as much as I try. It haunts me to this day. |
