This is the prototype copy that was assembled back in 2006 when the Oz Club was considering publishing the book. It's a full book in every sense of the term, and was made to show how the book would look when published. This has the complete text of the ENTIRE book; not the abridged version that was published in 1934 as THE LAUGHING DRAGON OF OZ. Unfortunately, the book was never published, so this prototype is all that exists. Clothbound hardcover uniform in size with the Oz books as published by Reilly & Lee, with 224 pages. |
