Comments: Here is the latest and most elaborate book yet published by the renowned Pamami Press: The Patchwork Girl of Oz: A Musical Wonderment in Two Acts and Five Scenes by L. Frank Baum. This scenario for Baum’s The Patchwork Girl of Oz stageplay (never produced) contains illustrations by John R. Neill and is embellished with six highlight colors—the five Oz colors plus orange for the Patchwork Girl. It has inserted pictorial endpapers and an illustrated dust jacket printed in two colors. The book is further protected by an archival plastic dust jacket, and the whole is housed in a custom made, matching cloth-covered slipcase. This special little book has been produced in a numbered edition of only 99 hand printed and hand bound copies. Hardcover 4 1/8” by 6 1/8, 56 pages. Preface by Michael O. Riley. |
