Comments: As Dorothy had left Oz forty years earlier, she lost the silver shoes over the desert never to return. Boq, who is an adventurous blue munchkin finds the shoes in the desert through mysterious circumstances. Boq secretly plots to use the silver shoes to go to Kansas to visit Dorothy and hopefully lure her back with a surprise for her in Oz. He learns from Glinda the Good that their creator left a rule that no one can leave Oz or a great Icing would occur. Boq believes the icing is a sweet treat, since no Ozian has ever seen snow or ice. He loses the silver shoes over the desert and as the icing covers Oz, both sides are frantic to find a way to return Boq back to Oz and stop the icing before they all freeze to death in Oz. |
